Swara AI is a vocal training application focused on Indian classical music. The Service provides real-time pitch detection, raga practice sessions, drone accompaniment (tanpura, keyboard, guitar), progress tracking, streaks, AI-generated session summaries, and optional classroom features for teachers and students.
To access certain features you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that have been inactive for an extended period.
You may use the Service for personal, non-commercial practice and learning. You agree not to:
Teachers may create classrooms and invite students via a join code. By joining a classroom, you consent to sharing your practice session summaries (score, duration, note accuracy) with the classroom owner. Teachers are responsible for managing their classrooms in compliance with applicable laws, including any applicable student-privacy regulations.
Core features of the Service require access to your device microphone. Audio captured through the microphone is processed locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers. You may revoke microphone access at any time in your device settings, but doing so will disable pitch-detection features.

You retain ownership of any content you create (e.g., classroom notes). By using the Service you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to store and process that content solely to provide the Service. We do not claim ownership over your content and will not use it for any other purpose.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Swara AI and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or USD $10, whichever is greater.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Swara AI and its affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
